Honestly, what is more American than free beer?

Chef Masaharu Morimoto might be Japanese by birth, but if you've ever watched the original, English-dubbed Iron Chef series, you'll see his challengers tease his latent American-ness. After all, this country gave him two of his great loves: baseball and his culinary career.

On Independence Day, Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs is highlighting their partnership with Winter Garden brewery Crooked Can by giving away one pint of the local craft brew per person (21+, of course).

The only catch is that each diner has to spend $25 to get the free brewsky. Shouldn't be too hard, though, since the Peking duck is $27 per person, and you absolutely must try it if you haven't yet, among other menu items. (We're looking at you, sticky ribs.)

After dinner, we suggest hitching a ride on the Disney Springs hot air balloon to see a bird's-eye view of the special Independence Day fireworks displays at the parks. Head skyward around 9 p.m. to get the best glimpse. Other places to view the fireworks without park entry include the terrace at Capa at the Four Seasons Orlando, the fourth-floor observation deck at the Contemporary Hotel, or the beach at the Grand Floridian or Polynesian Village Resort.
