Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson might be known for skidding and drifting across movie screens in Fast and Furious movies, but he better brush up on his dad jokes for his next film project.

On Monday, April 10, Johnson surprised visitors on Magic Kingdom's Jungle Cruise ride while doing "research" for his new movie.

According to The Wrap, Johnson will star in Disney's upcoming live-action movie "Jungle Cruise," a period picture that has yet to find a director.

Johnson posted a photo to his Instagram account, writing that after committing to a movie about Disney's Jungle Cruise ride, he wanted to dive "head first into research" and commandeer a boat at the theme park.

"It was a GREAT day on the river," Johnson wrote in his caption. "Learned a lot.. for example, it takes approximately 12.6 minutes for all the passengers to get over the shock of me jumping on the boat and thinking I'm a DJ look-a-like."

He goes on to say that he's most excited for the fun experience that combining the ride and movie will bring to families around the world.

"It's the cruise of a lifetime," Johnson writes. "And trust me, you'll want me as your Skipper."
