Prepare your wallets and waistbands — Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining event returns next month for a 17th year.

Running from Aug. 26 through Oct. 2, Magical Dining "Month" means that even broke locals can feel fancy for an evening and enjoy a prix-fixe three course meal for $40. More than 80 different restaurants throughout Orlando are participating in this event.

New to the party is Michelin-starred Four Flamingos. This restaurant run by TV personality and chef Richard Blais whisks patrons away to a tropical oasis featuring the flavors of Florida. Menu highlights include an inventive tuna tostada, Florida seafood moqueca and of course, Key lime pie.

There are two other newly Michelin Guide-lauded restaurants to choose from during this 38-day event: The Strand and Kabooki Sushi.

Outdoor seating, takeout and delivery options are available. Reservations are highly recommended, and can be made via the event website.

As in past years, the event shares proceeds with a cause. This year, donations go to the Able Trust, which helps expand employment opportunities for people with disabilities in Central Florida.
