To celebrate their fifth anniversary, The Coop is offering giant buttermilk chicken tenders for free next week to its first 50 customers.
The Winter Park restaurant at 610 W. Morse Blvd. will be giving out the free tenders from Monday, April 29 to Friday, May 3, according to a press release. So that's five, count 'em five, days to stuff yourself with chicken deliciousness.
The Coop was opened in 2014 by award-winning chef and 4 Rivers Smokehouse founder John Rivers.
"Everyone at The COOP is excited to celebrate five years of friends, family, fun and, of course, fried chicken," Rivers said in a statement. "We're so grateful for all of the community support The COOP has received since opening and look forward to saying thank you to everyone during our anniversary week."
Aside from free chicken tenders, The Coop is giving customers the chance to drop their names in a "Birthday Box" to win a free dinner per month for the next year. Plus, the restaurant is also offering a mason jar birthday cake for $4.50, though there are only 60, so get them while supplies last.
