Drink bourbon for breakfast at World of Beer this Saturday

You've got a few more days to snatch up tickets for the bourbon-bacon breakfast being sponsored by Jim Beam at the downtown World of Beer this weekend.

At the event, which starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, you'll be privy to four specialty bourbon cocktails (made with Jim Beam-brand liquor, of course), including an apple pie mimosa, mint julep, basil-infused Old Fashioned, and a bourbon sour made with Maple Knob Creek.

Bacon, bourbon's bestie, will feature prominently on the food menu. Taste bourbon candied bacon, bacon and bourbon grits, bacon sausage balls a bourbon apple tart and deviled eggs with bacon jam, among other treats the kitchen is cooking up.

Tickets are $30 and are available at World of Beer on Central Boulevard, or by calling the restaurant.
