Orlando Police honors Pulse victims with memorial patrol car

The Orlando Police Department is honoring the victims of the mass shooting at the gay nightclub Pulse by introducing a police vehicle memorializing the 49 we lost on June 12.
OPD gave a sneak peek of the tribute vehicle on its Twitter account. Along with a rainbow heart, the police car bears the 49 names of the victims on the hood. OPD spokesperson Michelle Guido says the department anticipates the car will be ready for the road next week.

"We thought that the car would be a great way to honor our community in the wake of the Pulse tragedy," she says in an email. "It's Vehicle No. 49, a tribute to our community, forever changed by the Pulse tragedy."
