Cobalt Cranes
Buzzing label aside, L.A.’s Cobalt Cranes is a band to watch anyway. Merging a rumbling, serious Brit pulse with a golden California haze, their heavy-sweet rock is sharp, textured and melodically penetrating. This show should prove to be an exciting early glimpse at an act with all the right stuff to be a near-future name. - Bao Le-Huu Read more.

Cashmere Cat
Most recently, his new single, “Adore,” which features Ariana Grande, smoothly sailed into our ears, like the swans gliding on Lake Eola or on the single’s official art. Now Cashmere Cat’s in town with Grande, taking the stage at Amway Center to warm the arena up for the pop star whose Facebook cutely and appropriately reports she’s a “cat by day” and “recording artist by night.” Pass the meow mix, please. Heads up: You can also catch Cashmere Cat on Saturday, March 27, at the Social for his own headlining show if you wanna skip the arena sparks. Read more.
