Today at the Mecum auto auction in Kissimmee, a 1959 Harley Davidson that belonged to legendary rocker Jerry Lee Lewis fetched a whopping $350,000. The bike was given to him by Harley as a gift (another was gifted to Elvis Presley_, and the 79-year-old Lewis posted to his Facebook page that "This bike is like a child to me, but I’ve decided it’s time to let it go.”

Like a child, indeed – Lewis kept the bike in his Nesbit, Miss. living room until Mecum came to retrieve it for auction.

Lewis was on hand at the auction today, and he played a grand-piano performance before a standing-room-only crowd as the reserve was lifted on his bike.

The Mecum auto auction continues through Sunday, Jan. 25.
