ARE/BE's "Original Sin" (18 tracks) is a delightful smorgasbord of original rock, R&B, blues and jazz. ARE/BE turns out to be local musician Rick Bailey, now a touring guitarist for pop/rap band LFO, as well as a member of early Orlando band HeartAttack Diner and producer at Sanford's KingSnake studios. Bailey's been a man away from his own music, spending the last 20 years producing and/or playing for others on over 100 albums. But on this disc, he's put together a home-pressed, finely polished testimony to his musical soul.

Every song is flawlessly produced and mixed with major-label studio quality and punctuated by quirky hooks, luscious arrangements, dynamic instrumentation and stellar musicianship. The downside of the album is that a few cuts may sound too dated or too commercial for some. "Original Sin" represents an authentic, interpretive image of several eras of musical styles.
