Review - Los Grandes Exitos en Españnol

Artist: Cypress Hill

First pop, now rap. Hip-hop titans Cypress Hill are back on the scene with a Spanish-language greatest-hits CD. "Los Grandes Exitos en Español" is strictly for fans of B-Real, Sen Dog and DJ Muggs, who flow the Latin lingo. The only new track is "Siempre Peligroso," which features Fermin IV Caballero from upstarts Control Machete -- a nice cut but hardly worth forking over 15 bucks.

The new versions on "Los Grandes" are identical to the originals, except for the Spanish lyrics, so some longtime fans might consider it a but a novelty to hear "Insane in the Brain" as "Loco en el Coco." Still, the translation should serve as an effective outreach.
