There's a new Orlando area Halloween event coming later this month. Outbreak on the Farm, presented by Nightmare: GO, will be taking over Good Neighbors Farmers Market in Oviedo for three nights at the end of October. More than just a traditional haunted trail, the attraction will feature a few different areas for visitors to explore, ranging from not so scary at all to pretty damn terrifying.

We'll start with the not scary. Jack's Patch will feature the entries from Outbreak on the Farm's online jack-o-lantern carving contest. (Keep an eye on their Facebook page for contest details.)

In the Inferno Maze, guests are trapped in a "burning" barn and forced to make their way through a labyrinth constructed of string to escape. Imagine it: you can see the exit, but you have to work your way through a maze to get to it. Could be fun, could be frustrating, but imagine the sense of accomplishment when you finally make your way out.

In addition to the Jack's Patch and the Inferno Maze, there three nights will be filled with all the typical things you'd find at a traditional farmers market: food, shopping, face painters and the like ... but with one addition: zombies.

The big fright at the his attraction is called Zed's Petting Zoo. Over on the Good Neighbors Farm, they've got some strange farm hands that collect odd things. If you venture over to Zed's Petting Zoo, you can check out the farm hands' collection of zombies from all around the globe. Just be careful not to get turned! This is the most extreme of all the attractions offered at the haunt, and promises to be filled with zombies galore.

Both the Inferno Maze and Zed's Petting Zoo are small group paced environments, but the organizers promise a more intimate experience. "No conga lines here!" they say.

The details:

When: 7-10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 - Saturday Nov. 1

Where: Good Neighbors Farmers Market,

Cost: $10, get tickets here

"Zombies?" you say
Yeah there's also Zed's. To be more specific, "Zed's No Petting Zoo". See there's some crazy farm hands that work there and they collect zombies! That's right real, undead, zombies...from all over...and they put them on display here. If you're crazy enough you can venture to that part of the farm and they'll show around a different kind of petting zoo. You'll be lucky if you don't become part of the display.
This is more of a traditional outdoor haunted trail featuring zombies. This will be the most extreme and scary attraction we are offering. Guests can expect zombies, zombies, and then maybe some more.
Zed's and Inferno will be small group paced environments, no conga lines here. This event is being targeted toward an adult audience and should be considered PG-13 at least.
Pre-sale tickets just went on sale through ticketleap.

That's kind of a basic run through of what we've got planned. If you have any further questions about any of this please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you again in your interest in our event. I look forward to reading your blog
