L.A. Guns’ greatest claim to fame exists as an answer to a trivia question – What band merged with Hollywood Rose in 1985 to form Guns N’ Roses? – but even though its players parted ways with Axl and Co. decades ago, the hard-rock act’s history has been inundated with drama, resulting in two incarnations of L.A. Guns operating simultaneously. The gist of the convoluted saga involves public feuds and three members of the best-known lineup – the one behind 1989’s Cocked & Loaded – staking claim to the same moniker. Today, guitarist Tracii Guns leads one L.A. Guns, and singer Phil Lewis and drummer Steve Riley the other. Comically, both hit Orlando this week: Tracii Guns’ band plays Bar Louie on Friday, and Lewis and Riley’s incarnation rocks the House of Blues on Saturday.
