Friday, September 9 – Red Bull Toasted featuring Parks Bonifay
Product placement fascinates us. It’s for that reason we do things we should abhor, like watch NASCAR races and Sex in the City for hours on end. It’s also the reason you may see us at Red Bull’s “roast” of wakeboarding legend Parks Bonifay – a semi-regular, semi-comedic tribute to extreme sports icons organized by Red Bull, distributor of Red Bull Energy Drinks. If the invitation of Ryan Sheckler – the most unfunny, uninteresting individual on the planet (but a hell of a skateboarder) – as a “celebrity guest” is any indication, then there’ll be even more reason to let your eyes wander and count Red Bull logos. We’ll be waiting to see if Bonifay is outfitted with both a Red Bull cap and energy drink while sitting in the throne. And isn’t it awesome how Red Bull puts their logo on the back and front of their fitted hats?
