The Nook on Robinson, a "neighborhood bar and eatery," will soft open inside the Sandwich Bar space in the Milk District March 3.
Mary McGinn, who will serve as the Nook's tap manager, says the Nook intends to be a hub for all things local, and will serve beer, wine, cider, kombucha, coffee, juice and pastries all produced in Florida.
Vegan food options will also be served.
McGinn also runs Dead Beat Books (formerly inside the District at Mills 50), so expect her curated collection to stock the bookshelves inside the bar/eatery.
You'll recall that all-vegan eatery Leguminati was to have moved into the old Sandwich Bar space at 2432 E. Robinson St. before the deal fell through. They've since announced a deal to open inside Foxtail Coffee Co.'s space in the Hourglass District.
The Nook will be open six days a week from Tuesday to Sunday. Soft opening hours will be 11 a.m.-midnight Wednesday-Saturday; 5 p.m.-midnight Tuesdays; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. for Sunday brunch.
