2022 was Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' coming out year.
The incompetent state Dems made sure that he was the lone bright spot of an otherwise disappointing mid-term by running a Republican against him. National right-wing media gobbled up each new cruelty dreamt up by this charismatic void for the express purpose of delighting their hateful audience.
It seems entirely likely that he will run for president in 2024 and subject us to several extra years of his smarmy face. At least we'll be old hat at being embarrased by DeSantis by the time he's sworn in. Here are 20 times over the last year that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis made a laughingstock of our state.
