Turtle crashes through windshield on I-4 because of course it did

Further evidence of the impending reptile wars crashed – literally – into view this week when an uninvited turtle divebombed a car on I-4.

Nicole Marie Bjanes found herself in need of Safelite's services after another car clipped a turtle trying to cross the busy highway, causing it to flip up in front of her car and crash through her windshield – which we admit is more realistic than our immediate assumption that an Italian plumber must have hopped on a winged turtle, causing it to drop from the sky.

Bjanes posted about the incident on Facebook earlier this week, and said that both she and the turtle survived the incident, but that the turtle was released back into the wild before he could be interrogated.
