With this week's temps hitting record lows, it should come as no surprise that a massive herd (or aggregation) of manatees is currently warming up at Blue Spring State Park.

Today's manatee headcount at the park is 489, a slight drop from yesterday's 552.

Arguably now is the best time to go see this awesome display of aquatic girth, plus the park is only 45 minutes from downtown Orlando and it's only $6 a car.

If you're stuck at work and can't make it, here are the always entertaining above and below water manatee cams from SaveTheManatee.org Stay on top of Orlando news and views. Sign up for our weekly Headlines newsletter.
