At around 4 a.m., Buckhorn's account started rattling off bomb threats, racist slurs and pornographic images. The bomb threat was made against Tampa International Airport.
"SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL," the tweet read, which has since been deleted.

The mayor's office has since confirmed the hack.
"We will work with the Tampa Police Department as well as all investigators to figure out how this breach was made," Tampa mayor spokesperson Ashley Bauman says in a news release via Twitter. "We urge residents to change their passwords and continue to alert officials when they seen an unlikely change in account activity. We are working with law enforcement to investigate all threats made by this hack."
The hacker also changed Buckhorn's name to "Bob Cuckhorn," according to Florida Politics. Some tweets focused on racist comments towards African Americans, such as "N——s just have to ruin everything, don't they?" Others included sexist comments, such as "There are times in life I feel like it was a mistake allowing women to think they're equals."
The hacker even doubled down on the idea that it was Buckhorn tweeting out the obscene and racially charged messages.
"No, I have not been hacked you dumb fucking liberals. I've just waken up, and you should too," one of the tweets read.
Buckhorn is out of state on a hunting trip, Florida Politics reports.
His account has since been removed.
