The Orange-Osceola State Attorney's Office will not press charges against the former University of Central Florida student who was accused of sexually assaulting another student at the Sigma Nu fraternity house and later the student's dorm.

The accused student is also the same man who was recorded in a viral video saying, “Let’s rape some bitches,” and chanting “rape” at an apartment affiliated with Sigma Nu.

A spokeswoman for the office told the Orlando Sentinel that "there is insufficient evidence to make a case against the man and that alcohol clouded memories and made it impossible to prosecute."

Sigma Nu was cleared of violating sexual misconduct rules by a disciplinary panel in August after the panel found that other fraternity members tried to pacify the man chanting by telling him to “calm down” and “go to bed.”
