Some guy just landed a plane on I-4 during rush hour traffic

This afternoon a small airplane was forced to make an emergency landing on I-4 during rush hour traffic, which might explain why your commute home was terrible.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the pilot, whose name hasn't been released, was flying from Boca Raton to DeLand, and was headed to the Orlando Executive Airport when the incident occurred.

The pilot was forced to land the plane in the center, closed lanes of I-4 near exit 94 at around 3:30 p.m.

While no injuries or damage to the plane has been reported, the FAA is currently investigating the incident.
