Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando presents its 23rd Annual Furball

Celebrating animals and the people who save them, Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando will be commending these heroic people this Saturday, October 25 at its 23rd Annual Furball presented by SeaWorld.  This event will take place from 6-10 p.m. at SeaWorld's Ports of Call.

Guests will experience amazing once-in-a-lifetime animal encounters and SeaWorld's new and exclusive "Animal Rescue Show" -an opportunity to meet the men and women on the front lines who are continuously saving the lives of animals.

Attendees can look forward to this years celebrity host, ABC News correspondent and host of Emmy nominated television series Sea Rescue, Matt Gutman. Also joining the party, will be WFTV 9 Family Connection as the events official network television partner.

For the first time, Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, will be presenting its Inaugural Animal Hero Award. This years Animal Hero, Joel Slaven, will be recognized for his outstanding efforts to saving animals lives.  Slaven has recused close to 1,000 animals from animal shelters across America and employed them as animal actors in his Pet Ahoy shows.

All proceeds from Furball will help benefit the program and services of Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando to save more lives of animals.
