With the popularity of the Orlando City SC and the Orlando Pride, soccer has grown to be a pretty big deal in Central Florida. There's a new Orlando City stadium in construction, and even a bar in the works in Church Street.

So, it's no surprise that a recent study named Orlando the "Best City for Soccer in 2016."

WalletHub's 2016's Best Cities for Soccer Fans, ranked Orlando 1st for minimum season-ticket prices for an MLS game, as well as 1st for both MLS and NWSL stadium capacity. Orlando also ranked 3rd for NWSL fan engagement. Go Alex Morgan!

WalletHub took 296 of the most populated U.S cities with at least one college or professional soccer league across six divisions, and compared them on things like how well each team performed to how many people could fit in the stadiums they played in.

Out of the 296 cities, second and third place went to Los Angeles, California and Portland, Oregon. On the other side of the spectrum, Hampton, Virginia, came in last.

This is how Orlando measured up:

10th Performance Level of MLS Team
1st Min. Season-Ticket Price for an MLS Game
3rd Min. Season-Ticket Price for an NWSL Game
1st MLS Stadium Capacity
1st NWSL Stadium Capacity
1st MLS Fan Engagement
3rd NWSL Stadium Capacity
