New political ad for Rick Scott attacks 'latte liberal' who yelled at him

After the viral confrontation Gov. Rick Scott had with a woman who called him an asshole at a Gainesville Starbucks, a political committee for Florida's governor is pushing back with an attack ad.

The Miami Herald reports Cara Jennings, a former Lake Worth city councilwoman, confronted Scott about his approval of legislation that increases restrictions on abortion clinics and his refusal to expand Medicaid in Florida. Scott didn't really answer her questions, but did respond with "we've got a million jobs" in the state. Jennings yelled back, "Who here has a great job?"

The new ad from "Let's Get to Work" refutes Jennings and calls her a "latte liberal" and "terribly rude," according to the Herald. The ad narrator says "almost everybody" has a great job in Florida "except those who are sitting around coffee shops, demanding public assistance, surfing the Internet and cursing at customers who come in."

The ad's views on YouTube are currently at 244 views, a far cry from the 2,048,736 views the original video received.
