Coral Reefer offers cannabis products and "lifestyle merchandise," including vaporizer formula, a rechargeable vaporizer device and pods, plus disposable pens, hats and T-shirts, all of which will be distributed at Surterra Wellness Centers across Florida.

"It never dawned on me that Coral Reefer would be anything other than a cool name for a tropical band born out of the Key West lifestyle in the mid-'70s," Buffett says in a news release. "But life is supposed to be about having fun and staying healthy enough to enjoy it."

Buffett adds: "I think Coral Reefer will help a lot of folks do that."

As one might imagine, the celebration will be tropical-themed, according to a press release for the event, where guests are invited to partake in …learning about the health benefits of cannabis-based products.

"Launching Coral Reefer marks another exciting and transformative milestone for Surterra Wellness in a period of rapid growth," says Surterra chairman and CEO William Wrigley Jr. "The Coral Reefer brand reflects our intention to give consumers access to high-quality wellness and cannabis-based products through best-in-class partnerships with people and organizations that reflect our standards and values."

In the coming months, Coral Reefer also expects to extend its product line to include edibles, topicals, pre-rolled joints and other CBD products.

The launch party kicks off at 4 p.m. Friday, April 19. Surterra Wellness Center is located at 1743 S. Orange Ave.
