I'm shocked â?¦ shocked!

A Bush administration appointee is a knuckle-dragging goon who, um, may have misled us all about his credentials in order to further a radical (and, if I may, borderline retarded) social agenda? You don't say.

In late 2006, President Bush appointed Dr. Eric Keroack to oversee the nation's family planning services. In other words, the birth control czar. It goes without saying that Keroack hates birth control. But even for the anti-uterus crowd, this dude has some weird-ass ideas: "Though he has no formal research credentials, Dr. Keroack has lectured widely from a PowerPoint presentation that uses Loony Tunes characters to illustrate his theory that premarital sex damages the female brain, making non-abstinent women incapable of forming emotional bonds."

Naturally, that totally qualifies him for a top job in the federal government. But that's not what caused Keroack to resign. He stepped down in March after he came under investigation for Medicaid fraud. Now, it appears his resume is a tad exaggerated.

Stupid, dishonest and corrupt? It's a wonder Keroack's not Secretary of Defense by now.
