Even though Rick Scott has been at the top Donald Trump's heap of potential running mates, the Florida Governor says he's not interested.
In an
interview with CNN Wednesday, May 4, Scott claimed that he has absolutely no desire in taking on a vice president role with the likely Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
"I'm going to pass," he says, "I'm going to do everything I can to make sure he wins. Uh, both for our state, if he wants anything done nationwide, I will do anything I can to make sure he wins. But I'm going to stay in this job and finish this job and have a good partner in the White House."
Just last week, Scott called on his fellow Republicans to
stop trying to get rid of Trump.
