Orlando is known as a vacation hotspot across the country, but it looks like some people are looking to extend their stay in the City Beautiful indefinitely.

Orlando landed the No. 7 spot on Forbes' list of "10 Cities Americans Are Moving To Right Now."

Combining real estate information from and data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Forbes figured out that although in the past people tended to migrate to popular urban areas, their results don't always follow this trend.

The study used factors like median home rate and the unemployment rate to rank the cities.

According to Forbes, Orlando's median home rate is $262,400 while the unemployment rate sits at 4.3 percent.

Two other Florida cities made the list as well, with Tampa taking the No. 1 spot and Jacksonville coming in at No. 2.

The full list of cities is:
  1. Tampa, Florida
  2. Jacksonville, Florida
  3. Charlotte, North Carolina
  4. San Antonio, Texas
  5. Austin, Texas
  6. Las Vegas, Nevada
  7. Orlando, Florida
  8. Nashville, Tennessee
  9. Raleigh, North Carolina
  10. Portland Oregon
