Residents of an Orlando subdivision are claiming their neighborhood is a hot spot for illegal street racers, you know, Dom Toretto-types with tricked-out cars who prefer to live their lives a quarter mile at a time.
“They go racing up and down here all the time,” said Cypress Springs subdivision resident Bob Palmer to WFTV. “You can hear the people racing out on the street, especially late at night.”
Arguably the best example of this happened on October 26. According to WFTV, trooper Steve Rando arrested illegal street racer James Mitchell after has was caught doing 140 in a 45 mph zone.
Mitchell was released on bail on Oct. 27. However, that evening he crashed into an Osceola County deputy during another street race.
