Tideup release dreamy, creamy single

Tideup, Orlando's electro-dreamsicle duo of Ben Guzman and Noelle Indovino, recently released a new single from their upcoming album entitled "A Dance In The Dark." The track evokes feelings polar opposite of Bjork's 2000 film of a similar name, thankfully. That movie makes me want to kill myself - beautiful as it is.

The two keep true to their chill and beautiful synth orchestration, however the track leans closer to a modern indie club banger than their previous efforts. Indovino's voice floats mystically within the whispy soundscapes Guzman provides; The percussive glitches and slaps swirl around while the bass is strong and centered, remeniscent of Caribou's "Odessa" with perhaps a little bit of that Bjork vocal flair. Comparisons aside, the duo has mastered a single that is endearing, powerful, and uniquely their own.

You can download it via their bandcamp for a limited time.
