This Monday is your last chance to see Atlanta up-and-comer 6lack for a while

We know that we consistently urge you not to miss this event or that event, but if you are at all intrigued by the post-millennium tension woven into song by 6lack, you’d better not miss this one-night stand at the Plaza Live. After rising through the ranks of battle rappers in Atlanta, living out of a backpack and hustling studio time whenever he could, 6lack prevailed with platinum single “PRBLMS” in 2016 and followed that up with the heady, opiated sonic heartbreak that is the Free 6lack album, even opening for the Weeknd. Finally, with all of his dreams within his grasp, 6lack abruptly pulled the plug on his musical career in early November with a simple Twitter post postponing all future live engagements to spend more time with his young daughter. So the remaining Florida shows on the “Free 6lack” tour are the last chance for a good bit to experience his seductive, ethereal, late-night take on R&B. Don’t sleep (but you may dream).
