It started as a home-hosted ugly sweater party, but Sweater Fest outgrew the house-show stage after seven years of stretching to fit and has officially moved to the Milk District for its eighth iteration, where you can come undone at an outdoor stage or in participating venues. With more than a dozen artists playing (17 total), including the Plush Monsters, Mojave Wilde, Fast Preacher, the Woolly Bushmen, Dromes and Fiona Trapple, consider the lineup a string of lights from our local scene. It’ll be as fun, sweaty and quirky as the shirt on your back, so shake out your most glorious woolen atrocity and join the sweatered herd making merry in the Milk District this Saturday.

7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 | Sandwich Bar, Spacebar and Milk Bar, East Robinson Street between Bumby and Graham avenues | facebook.com/theplushmonsters | $5
