The marketing department at Angel/EMI came up with a great little concept worthy of the Grinch. This collection features short symphonic pieces from classic composers (Mussorgsky, Ravel, Bach, etc.) and performances by great orchestras (Los Angeles Philharmonic. the Pittsburgh Symphony, etc.) all with a theme of death and destruction. For example, there's Respighi's "The Catacombs," which seems comfy enough sandwiched between Wagner's "Siegfried's Funeral March" and Bach's "Come Sweet Death."
