TMZ confirms that his body was discovered at his Paisley Park compound early this morning; cause of death not immediately known.
This follows a health scare on the 15th of this month, where his private plane made an emergency landing to rush him to the hospital. His representatives later revealed that the singer was battling the flu.
Prince then appeared at a public event at Paisley Park immediately afterwards, urging fans and attendees to "wait a few days before you waste any prayers."
