Orlando Girls Rock Camp grads Systematic are making the jump into Orlando's music scene at large with an upcoming show at Mills 50 venue Grumpy's, alongside a rogues' gallery of local talent.
They'll be playing Grumpy's Underground Lounge on Friday, July 30, as part of a eclectic lineup alongside Alien Witch, Little Lazy, Alaska Empath and Big Tit Mike.
This will be the official live debut for Systematic, a local quartet with members who have been part of local Girls Rock camps since 2018. Systematic made their first OGRC live showing at the 2019 showcase, playing again just a few weeks ago at the
2021 showcase. From what we've seen and heard, they're honing a sound that reminds us of Sleater Kinney and early PJ Harvey (but then we are old, and our reference points are woefully out of date).
Cover is $5 at the door. Doors are at 8:30 p.m. and music should start by 9 p.m.
