Musicians needed to save Central Florida wildlife refuge

While state congressional shit-for-brains like Sen. John Thrasher of St. Augustine and Rep. Pat Rooney of West Palm Beach are pushing to turn our state's park lands into motherfucking GOLF COURSES, Central Florida's largest wildlife refuge - Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge ( - is facing closure after 22 years of righteous work.

Thing is, this local music community loves the real Florida and loves BTN for their rescue work with our native fauna. That's why a concert benefit ("Kritter Crawl") is in the works right now for April 3 with participating venues Will's Pub, Uncle Lou's, and the Peacock Room. If you're a musician who's down for the cause and would like to represent onstage, contact Chris Jay immediately([email protected]). I'm sure he'd also be happy to field inquiries about other ways you can get involved.

For those wanting to make a more immediate impact, you can donate here:

Here's News 13's story about BTN's dire circumstances:

Orlando's music community has historically shown tons of heart for good causes. So how 'bout it, guys?
