Hip-hop community pays tribute to David 'MexOne' Alvarado at the Social this weekend

David “MexOne” Alvarado passed away in September, leaving behind a huge impact in the hip-hop scene after helping start the BBoy Spot, one of the first hip-hop community centers in the world. This week, a cadre of local hip-hop heavyweights – BMF, Rubox, E-Turn, Madd Illz, etc. – pay tribute to the man with a night of beats, rhymes, dancing and art. All proceeds benefit Alvarado’s family, so dig deep.
