Death metal overlords Gruesome to play the Haven Lounge tonight

Gruesome are a metal supergroup of sorts, keeping their sound new by taking death metal back to its repulsive, primitive roots. The current lineup features members of Exhumed, Possessed and Malevolent Creation.

This is a big night for metal fans, as Gruesome definitely hearken back to the glory days of Tampa/Orlando death metal, and the band are riding high off a triumphant set at Maryland Death Fest.

The show starts at 7 p.m. at the Haven Lounge, tickets are $12-$15.
