Axl, Slash and Duff manage to avoid a civil war on their successful Guns 'N Roses reunion tour

We would love to see the contracts that are allowing this Guns ‘N Roses tour to happen. Not for the dollar amounts (we can’t count that high) and not for the hospitality riders (probably just fancy water and vitamin packets). No, we want to see the iron-clad clauses that are a) getting the band (ahem, Axl) on stage in a timely fashion every night, and b) keeping these guys from murdering him. We have to assume that these contracts include multi-generation hexes and threats of blackmail, because they are definitely working; from all reports, every show on this reunion tour has gone off exceedingly well – both with and without Axl confined to Dave Grohl’s throne. Even though we’re bummed Izzy Stradlin isn’t on board, having Axl, Slash and Duff (Duff!) onstage together and kicking ass is as satisfying as it is surprising.
