Winter Park restaurant Park Plaza Gardens won't reopen anytime soon

Back in March, we reported that Park Plaza Gardens was temporarily suspending operations at its restaurant due to "certain conditions in our building" that make it "impossible to continue operations."

Well, looks as though things have gotten worse. In a statement today, Park Plaza Gardens owner Mary Demetree said:
"I'm both saddened and deeply frustrated that we were not able to come to an amicable resolution for the building's problems with our landlord. We want to remind the public that because these building issues made it impossible to continue operations, we took proactive measures by temporarily suspending operations of the restaurant on March 7 to collaborate with the landlord on a mutual resolution. We know that every day we’ve been closed damages our brand and denies our thousands of loyal customers the opportunity to enjoy our iconic Park Avenue restaurant. We will now aggressively represent our rightful position in court to reestablish operations as soon as possible."
Yeeeeesh. Never good when lawyers get involved. Reminds me of a joke from Season 2 of Better Call Saul (What do lawyers and sperm have in common? One in 3 million have a chance of becoming a human being.)

We'll keep you posted with any developments.
