For the past year or so, DD has started pairing up with their sister QSR, Baskin Robbins (why hasn't this happened before?!), beginning with the release of the Butter Pecan, Mint Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough iced coffee flavors.
After that sweet Proustian triumverate (especially for those of us late-'80s kids), Nabisco jumped in with a Chips Ahoy and Oreo iced coffee and suite of snacks.
Of course, it's pumpkin season now, so along with the next installment of what we'll call the Childhood Memories Collection, which happens to be a peanut-butter-filled Reese's Peanut Butter Cup-topped square of fried and iced dough, the Pumpkin Cheesecake Square is also making its fall debut. The donut is topped with graham crackers, orange glaze (???), white icing drizzle and filled with, naturally, pumpkin cheesecake. The specialty squares will only be available through October.
If they haven't made their appearance yet, we're pretty sure the plethora of pumpkin will continue with the pumpkin-spice-flavored coffees, lattes, muffins and probably a cream cheese if the autumn-obsessed have anything to do with it.
