Looking for a way to break out of the Saturday-night dinner-and-movie rut? Cornell Fine Arts Museum is hosting a tour of Winter Park art galleries followed by a European dinner buffet on Oct. 24.
Guests can explore a variety of art on the tour, which begins at 1:30 p.m., with stops at The Flying Turtle Gallery, William Moseley Gallery and Albertson-Peterson Gallery. Afterward, there's dinner at Schafer's Caffeehaus (535 W. New England Ave.), where the menu probably will include Turkish meatballs, chicken breast with ginger-lime and butter sauce, salmon-stuffed croissants, pumpkin quiche and spinach-ham pie, plus desserts.
An after-dinner dance will be held at a nearby artist's studio. Total cost is $25, but must be paid by Friday, Oct. 9. For details, call membership coordinator CeCi Harrison, 646-1526.
