The sign out front reads, "European Foods," but the small storefront is owned by the same Ukrainian family that cooks its native dishes at nearby Russ.
The shop features a meat case filled with lovely Petrovskaya sausages and Tvorog cheese. Shelves are stocked with Baltika ale and dark Botchkarev beer, and a section of Czar Nicholas tea. There are wines not found at ABC, like the semisweet Black Monk reds from Moldova and Georgian Khvanchkara varieties in fabulous ceramic bottles.
