Rockpit Brewing will open in Orlando's SoDo neighborhood Feb. 14

Rockpit Brewing is debuting to the public on Valentine's Day.

The new brewery will host a soft opening on Thursday, Feb. 14, at their new location, 10 W. Illiana St. in Orlando's SoDo District.

The soft opening will begin at noon and feature a special handcrafted beer menu that can be seen on their website. Along with their own craft beers, the owners have paired up with Cecil's BBQ to offer a food menu with items like meat sliders or bacon wrapped jalepeños.

According to their site, Rockpit was started by four Orlando natives and the entire bar is inspired by the "blue collar work ethic" of the owners' ancestors, with everything handmade from the tables to the bar to the bathrooms.

Keep in mind that this is only a sneak preview, and the grand opening for the completely handcrafted bar is planned for next month.
