If you count pho, soba, pad thai, lo mein or ramen among your five major food groups, the AAHC Asian Cultural Festival that takes place this Saturday in Fashion Square Mall is probably going to be the highlight of your weekend.

Celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, the festival highlights the cultural diversity of Japan, China, Vietnam, India, Thailand, Taiwan, the Philippines, Korea and Indonesia. Expect arts and crafts, martial-arts demos, performances by musicians and dance troupes, a Japanese candy-making demo by Miyuki, who performed at Epcot's Japan Pavilion from 1996-2013 – and of course, a ton of food (so bring cash).

Admission is free, and all of the proceeds will benefit the Asian Student Achievers Scholastic Awards.

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 30 | Orlando Fashion Square Mall, 3201 E. Colonial Drive | aahc-cf.org | free
