Arguably the best way to debut a new watering hole in downtown Orlando is with an open bar, which is exactly what Irish Shannon's Local Pub (41 W. Church St.) is doing this evening.

The new Irish pub will host their grand-opening party at 10 p.m, with live music and an open bar until 11:30 p.m.

Shannon's is taking over the former Dubliner spot and is owned by Church Street Entertainment Group, which operates neighboring bars Chillers, Latitudes and Cahoots.
