There's a new co-op coming to Propagation's old storefront in the Mills 50 'hood.

Bungalower announced on Sunday that build-out for this new marketplace, which will be called The District, has officially begun at 1221 N. Mills Ave.

The retail concept will be led by the same people in charge of Re:Innovation, who make custom furnishings and decor out of reclaimed wood.

According to The District's Facebook page, the location will serve as a workshop for Re:Innovation's woodwork, and serve as a space to sell various local goods – everything from vegan pastries and coffee to vintage-style clothing.

"We feel that a huge market of downtown dwellers will love our concept," The District said in their post, "and frequent events we plan for weekly and monthly wine tasting, coffee socials to benefit local charities and support our community."
