A comfort food favorite is coming to University of Central Florida.
As first reported by the
Orlando Sentinel,
Metro Diner will open a new location on December 12, at 11650 University Boulevard near UCF.
The diner chain first launched in Jacksonville and has expanded to ten states, with Central Florida locations in Altamonte Springs and The Villages, and now, near UCF.
The old-school diner boasts a menu of comfort food classics, like fried chicken and waffles, chicken pot pie, and a range of burgers, including the "Holy Davoli" burger stuffed with angus beef, American cheese and cherrywood smoked bacon.
