Essay question: Why should I drink here?
If you’re looking for a spot to grab lunch (hello, brick-oven pizzas) along with a really great cocktail downtown, this is it; Maddey’s is also a good place to meet up with co-workers or a date after work. There’s a strong selection of whiskey, gin and tequila cocktails to spice your life up, made with fresh juices and handcrafted bitters, but don’t get too attached: It’s a seasonally changing menu. One thing to remember: If you plan on Snapchatting, Instagramming your drinks or communicating via text with the outside world, make sure you ask for the WiFi password – the brick walls ensure that it’s like you’re in a lead-lined box.
