Just when you think the world has enough pizza parlors, along comes the downtown location of Donato's Pizzeria (2520 S. Orange Ave., 407-841-9998)
It's a sit-down, drive-up, home-delivery kind of place, the ninth of the chain in the area, serving more than 19 topping combinations like Hawaiian, "vegy" and "mariachi beef," including an apple or cherry with brown sugar dessert pizza.
Those with more traditional tastes will find an almost edgeless pie, using provolone cheese and lots of toppings. (If you care to count, the pepperoni pie is supposed to have 100 pieces of sausage).
These enterprising guys really want you to have pizza and so they take orders by phone, online (www.donatos.com) and from their "on-call" telephones at each table. Use these to call the kitchen and ask what the heck is happening with your food.
