In this week's Tip Jar, we reported that John Rivers' latest venture, the Coop, would start serving breakfast sometime in the near future. That near future is tomorrow. At 7 a.m., early risers can enjoy Lowcountry omelets (using eggs from Lake Meadows Farm), tamale pancakes, Southern poutine and more.
We've been fans of John Rivers' offerings since he opened 4 Rivers Smokehouse. Earlier this year, he introduced the Coop and we fell in foodie-love with it too, singing the praises of their fried cherry hand pies and the plate of "holy friggin' ridiculous" meatloaf. We expect the breakfast will make our tummies equally happy.
